"This past summer I got a serious infection in my hand from a cat bite. It was all swollen. sore, very painful and my right hand was unusable.
After two trips to emergency, to different oral antibiotics and a week of ivy therapy it was getting worse not better. The next stop for me was surgery. We were supposed to go to a family reunion, and the doctors said I couldn't go. I had one more day of IV and they were going to book me for surgery.
